1. Seller identity
This website and online store are operated by Chan Kin Ho under the storefront and brand name VeloLayers. VeloLayers is not a separate legal entity. Chan Kin Ho is also known publicly as Jason the Cyclist.
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform. All VeloLayers product sales are made directly by Chan Kin Ho.
2. Products and compatibility
VeloLayers designs and sells small-batch, made-to-order 3D-printed cycling accessories. We try to describe and photograph every product accurately. Minor layer lines, colour differences, and small surface variations are normal characteristics of 3D printing and are not defects when the item otherwise matches its description and functions as stated.
Customers are responsible for checking the stated model, dimensions, compatibility, and included items before ordering. References to third-party brands and products are used only to describe compatibility. VeloLayers is not affiliated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, or approved by those brand owners unless expressly stated otherwise.
Some product pages link to separately sold parts from third-party websites, including Amazon. Those linked parts are not sold by VeloLayers and are not included with a VeloLayers product unless the product page expressly says they are included. A purchase from a third-party website is a separate transaction between the customer and that third party.
3. Orders and cancellations
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase. An order is accepted after we confirm it and successfully process payment. We may decline or cancel an order if a product is unavailable, the payment cannot be verified, the delivery address cannot be served, or the order appears fraudulent. If we cancel an order after payment, we will issue a full refund.
Most products are made after an order is placed. A standard order can normally be cancelled for a full refund before production begins. Once production or fulfilment has begun, cancellation may not be possible except where applicable law gives the customer a cancellation right. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to request a cancellation.
4. Prices, payment, taxes, and duties
Prices are displayed in the selected currency. Shipping charges, taxes, and any other amounts collected by VeloLayers are shown before payment.
Unless checkout expressly states that import duties and taxes are prepaid, the recipient is responsible for charges assessed by the destination country. Prices may change, but an accepted order will be charged at the price shown when it was placed.
5. Shipping and delivery
Production, dispatch, delivery estimates, fulfilment locations, tracking, split shipments, duties, and delivery problems are explained in our Shipping Policy. Delivery dates are estimates and can be affected by carriers, customs, severe weather, and other events outside our reasonable control.
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address. Please contact us immediately if an address needs correction. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed after production or dispatch.
6. Returns, refunds, and order problems
A standard, non-personalised product may be requested for return within 14 calendar days after delivery, subject to the eligibility conditions in our Refund Policy. The item must be unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition.
Genuinely personalised or made-to-specification products cannot normally be returned for change of mind unless required by law. Printing a standard catalogue product after an order is placed does not by itself make that product personalised.
If an item is incorrect, damaged, defective, or materially different from its description, contact us promptly with the order number and supporting photographs or video where useful. We will assess the problem and provide an appropriate repair, replacement, or refund.
For a change-of-mind or compatibility return, the customer pays return postage unless applicable law requires otherwise. If an item is incorrect, damaged, or defective, VeloLayers will provide or reimburse reasonable return postage when a return is required.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5 business days after approval. A bank or card issuer may take additional time to post the credit.

7. External links
Our website may contain links to third-party websites, products, or services. These links are provided for convenience. VeloLayers does not control and is not responsible for a third party’s products, availability, pricing, delivery, content, privacy practices, or terms. Customers should review the third party’s information before purchasing from it.
8. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise stated, VeloLayers designs, photographs, text, graphics, branding, and other original store content belong to Chan Kin Ho. They may not be copied, manufactured, reproduced, or commercially used without written permission.
Third-party trademarks remain the property of their respective owners and are mentioned only for identification or compatibility.
9. Acceptable use
You may use the store only for lawful shopping and informational purposes. You must not interfere with the store, introduce malicious code, misuse customer or store information, impersonate another person, make fraudulent purchases, or copy store content unlawfully.
10. Disclaimer and liability
We take reasonable care to provide accurate information and functional products. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Chan Kin Ho and VeloLayers will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or a product. Any liability relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hong Kong SAR. Any dispute will be handled by the courts or other competent authorities of Hong Kong SAR, without limiting mandatory consumer rights that apply in the customer’s country.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to our products, services, or legal obligations. The current version and its last-updated date will be published on this page.
